Jordan Rhodes has had a number of big-money moves throughout his career, but his £10m move to Sheffield Wednesday from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2017 was certainly a mistake for the Owls.
Rhodes spent the second half of the 2016/17 season on loan at Hillsborough, scoring three times as Wednesday reached the play-offs. However, after the club record deal brought him in permanently that summer, he managed just seven goals in all competitions last season.

This summer, the now 28-year-old was shipped out on loan to fellow Championship side Norwich to get his wages off the books, and Wednesday are now sitting in the play-off places after 12 games. However, his value has surely dropped to below £3m and the Owls are unlikely to see a return on their investment.
Manager Jos Luhukay has plenty of strikers at his disposal too, with Steven Fletcher, Lucas Joao, Fernando Forestieri and Atdhe Nuhiu all starting games this season and Sam Winnall set to return from a long-term injury.
So, Wednesday fans, if the club can cash-in on Rhodes, who has netted five times so far this season for Norwich, how much would you like to get for the former Scottish international? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
