According to reports in The Sun on Tuesday, Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye is a target for Arsenal after some fine performances in the middle of the park for the Toffees this season.
The 27-year-old has quickly made a big impression at Goodison Park following a £7.1m summer transfer from Aston Villa, with the high number of tackles and interceptions he has made producing comparisons with Chelsea star N’Golo Kante.
Now the Gunners are said to be hoping that they can make the Senegal international their Kante next term, but it would surely take a huge offer to convince the Merseyside outfit to cash in on a player that has become one of their key men under the leadership of Ronald Koeman.
With the Dutchman linked with the Barcelona job, Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley being lined up with moves away and now this, it appears as though Toffees supporters are starting to lose their patience with the press.
