The 28-year-old’s performances have been fantastic, and they led to him winning the PFA Player of the Year last term. Not only that, he has also been tipped to claim the Ballon d’Or.
Other than being a wonderful player, it seems he is pretty nice guy off the pitch as well. In association with Nivea and Liverpool, the former Celtic man surprised a life-long fan and took him on a tour around Melwood. He was also invited to one of the team’s games as a VIP, whilst all of the costs for the away games until the end of the season will be covered by the Anfield outfit.
