Alisson remains Liverpool's first-choice goalkeeper, with Caoimhín Kelleher set to be his backup again in the 2024-25 campaign. However, Liverpool are looking to the future with Mamardashvili, who could replace either stopper. Alisson will turn 32 in October and is contracted to Liverpool until 2027, while Kelleher has admitted this summer that he wants a role as a No.1.
